Everbody! Conference Room! Now!
As some of you may know, TheTwoCents (our mother site) moved into new digs last week.
Well, wouldn't you know it? We here at ScrantonBranchOffice got all lonely and decided to make the move as well.
Starting today, Siete de Mayo, we gonna need to change our business cards...
If you get here to SBO via the old twocentsbranchoffice.blogspot.com link, retype your bookmark to www.ScrantonBranchOffice.com and you'll show up in our new office space!
The new site has been built to be more user-friendly: Easy to find information, easy to read pages, easy to use lists, easy, easy, easy (that's what she said).
We hope that you will help us spread the word! Thank you for your love and support!
Most Sincerely,
KP, Rachel, and the entire ScrantonBranchOffice Family

Ricky Gervais Wrote A Book?
He sure did. A four-volume children's book series, as a matter of fact.
"Flanimals" encompasses a world inhabited by 50 species of creatures so ugly and misshapen they become cute and endearing.
And what's better? Universal-based Illumination Entertainment has announced it will create a 3-D animated feature based on "Flanimals" with Gervais voicing the lead character and Matt Selman (The Simpsons) writing!
"It will be great to play a short, fat, sweaty loser for a change," Gervais said. "A real stretch."

Michael Scott Paper Company's Official Statement On Sale
"A wise man once sang, "Reunited and it feels so goooood!" With that in mind, we are happy to announce that the Michael Scott Paper Company is now merging with Dunder Mifflin. To our newer clients, we realize that we said Dunder Mifflin was a terrible company, but it turns out they're not so horrible - they've seen the error of their ways and went from bad to good (much like Drew Barrymore)."

In a classic opening sequence, Michael has a van which he uses to make 5AM deliveries of paper. He picks up Ryan (put keeps moving the car forward a bit so he can’t get in) and Pam (who Jim walks to the door in his boxers). Meanwhile, Michael honks the van and yells out “time to make the donuts” and the way he says it is hilarious and the fact that it’s 5AM and Michael doesn’t care that he is screaming and honking! Ok, folks, off the The Office!

Mose leaves the Farm
Everyone's favorite 27-year-old who has never left the Schrute family beet farm has packed up.
Michael Schur (who plays Mose) was one of the original writers of The Office and is the co-creator of Parks and Recreation, which debuts this Thursday. Schur, who is directing several Parks and Recreation episodes, was asked to ruturn to the character of Mose, but just doesn't have the time. Aw, man!

"The Office" Loses Carell To Films
Entertainment Weekly's guru of gossip, Ausiello, has reported today that what we all feared has happened. Steve Carell seems to be on the way out of The Office.
"NBC sources are confirming to me that Mr. 40-Year-Old Virgin, has opted out of the rest of his contract with the show. The source also mentions that we have already met his replacement. Andy Buckley, who plays CFO David Wallace has had more of a presence on the show because it was apparently a test to see how audiences reacted to him."
To read more details, go to EW by clicking HERE.
What do you think about this? Will this drastically change the show? Leave your TwoCents below.

Ricky Gervais Loves Season 1 and 2
Don't we all??
Here's a piece from a Q&A he did with the Chicago Times.
"Q: Have you watched every episode of the American remake of "The Office?"
A: I've probably watched every episode of Series 1 and 2, but now I probably watch one in three. I watched two on the plane this time of the last series.
Q: Your version only ran 12 episodes. This season finale of the U.S. "Office" will make it 100 episodes total. Does having an open-ended series hurt the storytelling?
A: It makes it more difficult. When you've got a finite arc, it's by definition more conclusive. You get out on top. The love story alone is hard to keep going. Will they, won't they? Yes they have. That's the end of that.
But they haven't been a slave to the realism or the fake documentary either, which you can't be, because you're thinking, "Why are they still filming there? Why is there a film camera following him on the bus?" That was the single most important thing for us, because it told us why the characters were acting like that. And ours was much more about characters thrown together. And this is more a traditional sitcom than ours ever was."
