Entertainment Weekly's Best TV Sound Bites of 2007

You KNOW "The Office" would make this list, now didn't you? VERY few shows that aren't talk shows (Letterman, Leno, Daily Show, etc.) even made this list, but our little comedy that could did! But just how many times? Well, since you asked....

JANUARY
''Five of us transferred from Stamford. There's two of us left — me and Karen. It's like we're touring Willy Wonka's chocolate factory and dropping off one by one. Well, guess what? I'm not falling in a chocolate river.''
ANDY (ED HELMS), ON THE OFFICE

FEBRUARY
''I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once, but by the time I got to it, it had turned back into my neighbor's dog.''
DWIGHT (RAINN WILSON), WHO THINKS JIM (JOHN KRASINSKI) IS TURNING INTO A VAMPIRE, ON THE OFFICE

APRIL
''I don't think that this is totally just a woman's suit. At the very least, it's bisexual.''
MICHAEL (STEVE CARELL), AFTER BEING ACCUSED OF WEARING WOMEN'S CLOTHES TO WORK, ON THE OFFICE

''If someone gives you 10,000-to-one [odds] on anything, you take it. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I am going to be a very rich dude.''
KEVIN (BRIAN BAUMGARTNER), ON THE OFFICE

MAY
''Sometimes the clothes at Gap Kids are just too flashy. So I'm forced to go to the American Girl store and order clothes for large colonial dolls.''
THE PETITE-SIZE ANGELA (ANGELA KINSEY), DISCUSSING HER SHOPPING HABITS, ON THE OFFICE

''Once I am officially regional manager, my first order of business will be to demote Jim Halpert. So I will need a new number two. My ideal choice? Jack Bauer. But he is unavailable. Fictional. And overqualified.''
DWIGHT (RAINN WILSON), ON THE OFFICE

OCTOBER
''They say you should never mix business with pleasure. Really? Well, then explain to me how a putt-putt golf company operates.''
ANDY (ED HELMS), ON THE OFFICE

NOVEMBER
''You can not take the hilarious black guy from the office. Stanley is part of what makes this branch so extraordinary — the bluesy wisdom, the sassy remarks, the crossword puzzles, the smile, those big watery red eyes. I don't know how George Bush did it when Colin Powell left.''
MICHAEL (STEVE CARELL), AFTER LEARNING THAT STANLEY (LESLIE DAVID BAKER) MIGHT BE CHANGING BRANCHES, ON THE OFFICE

And...

BuddyTV has "The Office" on a few lists:
BEST FINALE
#2 - "Why was this finale of The Office better than the previous season? After all, it’s hard to top the first time Pam and Jim kissed at Casino Night. However, on the season 3 finale, Jim decides to bail on Karen and asks Pam out on an official date. It left fans over the moon – after all, The Office wouldn’t pull them apart twice on us, would they?"

SEXIEST MEN ON TV
#2 - "He may not be Wentworth Miller or Taye Diggs but John Krasinski brings a different kind of hotness, one that makes him number one in my book."

The Office is One of E!'s Best of 2007

"The Office" Had the 2nd Saddest Death on TV in 2007

BuddyTV has listed the 7 saddest TV deaths of 2007 and among characters from Ugly Betty, The Sopranos and more, who came in at #2?

Sprinkles!

"We all knew that Sprinkles wasn't doing well. She needed insulin, an ace inhibitor, cream, and pills to keep her health in tact. The thing is – Sprinkles is a cat. A cat that became too sick for Dwight Schrute to tolerate. On the season 4 premiere of The Office, Dwight euthanized his girlfriend's cat, causing sadness to animal (and Dwangela) lovers everywhere."

Ed Helms Wants Us To Vote!

MySpace.com is all about the upcoming elections and to help the MySpace world get in touch with WHY we should vote, they asked two of the nation's best experts on politics. Ok, maybe not experts on politics, but they are funny! It's Ed Helms from "The Office" and that McLovin' kid from "Superbad". Enjoy!

Vote - It's the least you can do

Creed Bratton Hosts at Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum

The Office's former professional musician, Creed Bratton (watch him Jam out at the Scranton Office Convention), recently hosted the very first inductions at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum.

"At the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum's inaugural induction ceremony, six groups of musicians — men and women who played on many of the most important and well-loved records in the history of American popular music — were honored with medallions and applause.

Motown group The Funk Brothers, Nashville's A Team, Los Angeles' The Wrecking Crew, Johnny Cash's Tennessee Two and Elvis Presley's Blue Moon Boys made up the first Musicians Hall class.

The show, for which Creed Bratton of TV's The Office served as host, drew frequent standing ovations."

Steve Carell on NPR's "Fresh Air"

National Public Radio's (NPR) great entertainment interview show, "Fresh Air", recently sat down with Steve Carell to talk about The Office and his film career.

"By the end of The 40 Year Old Virgin, the title character had lost his virginity — and actor Steve Carell had become a star."

This interview originally aired on Oct. 24, 2007.

Melora Hardin Loves Zac Efron!

The National Ledger has a great article about Melora Hardin and her future projects, including the movie "Seventeen" with "High School Musical"'s Zac Efron.

""The Office's" Melora Hardin might just be the busiest actress around in this post-holiday, strike-stricken town. She's been busy on several films, one of which is her directorial debut. She has her brand-new "At the Water Cooler" act debuting Jan. 4-6 at Hollywood's Catalina Jazz Club. And she's in the midst of making the big-screen "Seventeen," in which Matthew Perry's character finds himself suddenly back in his 17-year-old body -- Zac Efron's!"

Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky's New Movie...

The L.A. Times has an article about the upcoming movie "Year One" that was written by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg.

"Penned by writer-producers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg ("The Office") with director Harold Ramis ("Vacation"), the script has great anachronistic fun with the idea of applying contemporary characterizations and language to a biblical context, and vice versa (i.e. "I want to lay with her so badly" and "What happens in Sodom, stays in Sodom")."
