Oscar tells Michael there’s a $4300 surplus in the office budget that has to be used before the end of the year or they’ll lose it. Michael needs him to break it down into lemonade stand terms, of course. Oscar suggests that they use the money to buy a new copier for the office, but when Michael suggests that to the rest of the crew, Pam says she wants new chairs. Jim and Pam have their first public fight when Jim votes for the copier. Pam passively aggressively threatens Jim to reconsider changing his vote from new copier to new chairs. Looks like a little hubba-hubba to me, wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

ReplyDeleteOscar and Jim pretend to be Michael’s new best friend, taking him to lunch so they can vie for the copier. Pam declares it to be “on”. She dolls up and does some heavy duty flirting with Michael. Michael is completely oblivious to all the manipulation going on, of course.
Michael can’t decide what to do so he calls David and tells him about the surplus and the chair/copier decision. David tells him to turn in the surplus and take the 15% bonus for managers. Michael plans to blow his $645 at Burlington Coat Factory. That’s gonna go over really well. The office staff finds out that Michael wants to take the bonus and there is mutiny. They ambush Michael in his office and he tells them to figure it out amongst themselves and if they can’t come to a conclusion, he’s taking the bonus. They opt for the chairs. Wonder how Pam pulled that one off.
Andy and Angela are getting married at Schrute Farms but Dwight throws up some roadblocks like giving directions in paces and digging trenches to use as bathrooms. Angela and Andy go on location to the farm to check it out. Angela complains of the manure smell and Andy steps in a huge cow pie. They go to the kitchen to talk details. Andy steps in another cow pie. In the kitchen. Ew.
Dwight holds a fake ceremony for Andy and Angela to watch. Dwight suggests that Andy escort Angela up the aisle to Dwight who will be playing Andy’s part as the groom. The minister speaks only German and Dwight narrates what will happen during the actual ceremony, but it looks to me like this could be the real thing. I think maybe Dwight and Angela accidentally just got married?
Angela confesses to Dwight that she made a mistake in choosing Andy because the whole fake ceremony with Dwight just felt right to her. She seems to have had a moment of clarity here and sincerely wants Dwight back. Dwight wrecks it and admits to Angela that he just married her for real and Angela is furious, of course. Angela gives Andy a very inappropriate kiss in the office right in front of Dwight and then claims to have to go take care of a legal matter.
Why do you think they decided to go with the chairs over the copier? Will Angela annul the marriage to Dwight? Is she still going to marry Andy? Why in the world was there a cow pie in the kitchen? Post your theories in the comments!
