Dinner with Steve and Paul!

In big movie news, Steve Carell will be starring in the upcoming comedy, "Dinner for Schmucks".

Carell will join Paul Rudd in this remake of a 1998 French comedy "La din de cons" about the world's worst dinner guest. (Anyone else thinking the "Dinner Party" episode plus an hour??).

The movie, directed by "Meet the Fockers" director Jay Roach, is set to start shooting in October, and will be the first collaboration between Carell and Rudd since "Anchorman".

LOVE IS IN THE AIR... SORT OF-- It’s Valentine’s Day at the office. Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) meets a mysterious woman at a Valentine’s blood drive. Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) pair up with single women at the office “Lonely Hearts Party.” Meanwhile Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) are banished from the office for being too publicly affectionate, and have an awkward lunch with Phyllis (Phyllis Smith) and Bob (Robert Ray Shafer).

A phone salesman comes by to see Michael, but Pam doesn’t want them to get a new system that will basically replace her. She tells him that Michael isn’t in and when the salesman wants to make an appt, Jim cuts in and pretends to be Michael. Michael happens to walk up at this time. Jim calls Michael "Jimbo" and to get Michael to play along Jim and Pam give him meaningful looks. Surprisingly, Michael plays along and there is a lot of Fonzie Ayyy-ing going on. Salesman kinda gets freaked and leaves. Best cold opening I’ve seen this season.

The show supports the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s free and low-cost programs for the community, and will run from March 20 through March 22.
